Every legend begins somewhere. This one begins with a quiet night, a fortress thought impenetrable, and a betrayal that shatters the calm.

Welcome to Moonstrider, my original fantasy comic. I’m Armand Hayes, the creator behind the story and artwork, and I’m excited to finally share this world with you.

Set in the world of Nocturne, Moonstrider follows Ravyn, whose search for coin and acceptance draws him into a conflict far bigger than his next bounty. Along the way, you’ll find ancient relics, meet warriors, wielders of elemental magic, unlikely allies, and enemies with reasons to stay in the shadows.

Expect sword fights, ancient mysteries, dangerous magic, and choices with consequences. But there’s room for humor, friendship, and the occasional bad decision, too. With manga-inspired action and a gothic fantasy atmosphere, this is a story about finding your place in a world that may already have decided what you are.

New comic pages will be posted every Thursday night. The opening pages are available now, so you can start at the beginning and return each week as the story unfolds.

This project has been a long time in the making. Thank you for being here at the start. Whether you’ve followed its development or just discovered it today, I hope you’ll find something that makes you want to turn the page.

Start reading Chapter One—and I’ll see you next Thursday night.
